It is renowned for its distinctive and heavily mossed buds, which exude a delightful resinous fragrance. The blooms are large, full, and richly colored in shades of deep pink to purple, often with a hint of crimson. This vigorous climber or shrub rose can reach impressive heights, making it a stunning addition to any garden.

    Just watch out for the small razor sharp thorns with 'William Lobb.'  It makes a great security barrier.
