Rosa 'Buff Beauty' (Shrub Rose)
'Buff Beauty' with its large, apricot-yellow blooms that fade to a soft buff color, offers a delightful contrast in any garden setting. 'Buff Beauty' is renowned for its robust growth and abundant clusters of semi-double flowers, exuding a delightful, musky fragrance that fills the air.
'Buff Beauty' makes quite a large shrub of roughly 5ft (150cm) across and as roses go, it is as 'tough as old boots.' It withstands our slightly cooler temperatures here in the hills of the Brecon Beacons and can cope with our wet, wild weather. It is a 'must have' rose for the middle/back of borders.
Rosa 'Buff Beauty' can be a lovely cut flower, thanks to its charming apricot-yellow blooms and strong, musky fragrance. However, while it's visually appealing, it's important to note that its semi-double blooms might not have as long of a vase life as some other rose varieties. The flowers might also be a bit more delicate compared to hybrid teas
