How much rose petal confetti do you need?

This is one of the questions we are asked most often.

The honest answer? Usually more than people first expect.

A single handful per guest will create a simple scattering of petals, but if you are dreaming of that beautiful confetti tunnel moment with petals filling the photographs, you will need a more generous amount.

Our rose petal confetti is available in four sizes:

Single — perfect for a small, simple confetti moment.

Posy — around 10 generous throws.

Bouquet — around 25–30 throws.

Garden — around 60 throws, ideal for larger wedding parties.

For many weddings, a Bouquet or Garden size creates the most magical effect, while a Posy can be perfect for smaller, more intimate celebrations.

A few practical things to know

Natural petals are wonderfully simple, but a little care beforehand will help them look their best.

Keep your confetti somewhere cool and dry until your wedding day. Damp conditions can affect the petals, so avoid storing them somewhere humid or leaving them in a warm car. We carefully pack our confetti so it travels well, but it is happiest kept safely indoors until needed.

If you are planning an outdoor ceremony, a gentle breeze can create a beautiful floating effect as the petals drift through the air. On a still day, the petals may fall more quickly — still lovely, just a slightly different kind of confetti moment.

And, as with any outdoor wedding in Wales, the weather may have its own plans! If rain arrives, you may prefer to save your confetti for a sheltered moment. Wet petals can become heavier and may cling to clothing.
